Five people were hurt,
one critically, Tuesday evening when a car slammed into a
doughnut shop in Gardena.
The other four victims suffered minor to
moderate to injuries, L.A. County Fire dispatcher Ed Pickett said.
The incident happened about 7:20 p.m.
near Western and Marine avenues, Pickett said.
The business is the Donut King II,
according to aerial news footage.
