Los Angeles Times reports About security breach

Google, Twitter and Microsoft were among the nation's tech companies who lent their support to an anti-spying protest Tuesday that urged Congress to restrict the National Security Agency's powers. " The Day We Fight Back " campaign, formally supported by civil liberties groups such as the American Civil Liberties Union and websites, including Reddit, aims to end "mass surveillance -- of both Americans and the citizens of the whole world," according to a news release from the coalition.

Apple IOS Security Update

Apple released updates for iOS 7 and iOS 6 users on Friday. The iOS 7.0.6 update is a security update that the company says "provides a fix for SSL connection verification."

This is a small update, clocking in at just 35MB on a Verizon iPhone 5S. Apple also released an update for iOS 6 users on the iPhone 3GS and fourth-generation iPod touch. iOS 6.1.6 reportedly offers a number of bug fixes.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) estimates that the use of commercial drones in the airspace of the USA could start in two years. It is expected to bring about radical changes in the way business is done and in surveillance and police work. Many countries, both developing and developed, are actively engaged in programmes of drone usage.

Drivers beware los angeles

Drivers beware: there will be a number of street closures this Sunday, March 9, due to the 29th annual Los Angeles Marathon.

The ASICS LA Marathon will follow the popular "Stadium to the Sea" course. The race begins at Dodger Stadium, winds through downtown before heading through Hollywood and Beverly Hills. The course ends in Santa Monica.
